The Manager of People Operations is responsible for how HR services are delivered and scaled across the organization. This role focuses on building reliable, efficient HR operations through process improvement, service delivery optimization, and technology enablement.
This person is a hands-on operator who can identify where HR workflows break down, improve them, and build systems that allow the function to run consistently at scale. They will also support the implementation of automation and AI tools that improve how HR works.
Assess and improve HR workflows across the employee lifecycle to reduce friction, redundancy, and gaps
Build and maintain a process improvement roadmap, including standardized workflows and documentation
Define and track operational KPIs such as SLAs, cycle times, and error rates, and build dashboards that provide visibility into HR performance
Lead root cause analysis for recurring HR issues and implement scalable, durable solutions
Support the design and lead implementation of a tiered HR service delivery model, including self-service, shared services, and HRBP escalation
Drive adoption of HRIS as the system of record and primary employee touchpoint
Provide oversight and support for benefits administration, serving as an escalation point for complex issues
Identify and implement targeted HR technology, automation, and AI solutions that reduce manual work and improve efficiency
Partner cross-functionally with IT and business leaders to align HR operations with organizational needs
Lead and develop the People Operations team, ensuring clear ownership, prioritization, and accountability
5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR operations, HRIS, or process improvement
Proven experience improving or scaling HR workflows in a growing organization
Hands-on experience with an HRIS such as Workday, SAP, UKG, or a comparable platform
Strong analytical skills with the ability to build, interpret, and act on operational dashboards and metrics
Experience leading cross-functional operational change initiatives
2+ years of people leadership experience
