The Manager of Enterprise Architecture leads the engineering and operations of enterprise architecture across Nebraska Medicine and UNMC. This role owns the strategy, reliability, and lifecycle of Enterprise Architecture. The Manager ensures secure, resilient architectural standards that enable patient care, education, and research.
Minimum Qualifications: Manager of Enterprise Architecture
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Enterprise Architecture engineering experience, including large, complex, multi‑site environments required.
• Minimum of 3 years leading technical teams with 24×7 operational accountability required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field required.
• Hands‑on expertise with enterprise architecture required.
• Demonstrated mastery of ITIL processes (incident, change, problem) and service reporting required.
• Strong vendor management and budgeting experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Manager of Enterprise Architecture
• Healthcare delivery organization, & higher education/research experience and familiarity with clinical communications preferred.
• Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, PMP preferred.
• Proven leadership of cross-domain architecture teams in a regulated environment preferred.
• Strong executive communication and governance experience preferred.
• Experience aligning enterprise architecture with IT portfolio management, capital planning, or digital transformation initiatives preferred.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, clinical platforms) or hybrid/cloud enterprise environments preferred.
