Monday - Friday - Between 7a - 5p. *Available for after-hours, weekend, and holiday escalation via phone.

Pay Range

$41.10 - $61.65

  • Manages the overall operation and services of the department to include plan, design and implement appropriate staffing patterns based on financial and customer feedback (i.e. adjusted work hours, appropriate allocation of staff per time of day, determination of shift assignments based on work volumes, priorities or specific department/customer needs)
  • Develops, implements and manages specific department policies and procedures and assures operational/customer service standards are created, implemented and monitored.
  • Manages appropriate workflow patterns, solve problems, implement emergency procedures and address customer needs at all levels of the organization.
  • Establishes a "Team" working environment which fosters and supports an understanding of and mutual respect for department leadership, individual coworkers, operational/customer service standards, and interdependent working relationships.
  • Identify, facilitate, implement and monitor performance improvement projects/initiatives in order to improve service, solve problems, increase productivity, and/or realize cost efficiencies.
  • Develops, designs, implements and/or manages staff education activities (teammate competency, safety, new procedure/equipment education, system redesign modification/enhancement education, customer service standards/expectations, etc.).
  • Develops and implements best practices that will assist the organization in meeting or exceeding productivity, caregiver engagement, financial, quality and patient loyalty target outcomes and better manage resources. Ensures that utilization of all resources is optimal (i.e. staffing, supplies, etc.).
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies including but not limited to Federal, State, DNV, OSHA, and CDC.
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.


Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.


Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master's preferred.


Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in a clinical or support services department. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in management of staff, budgets, and human resource functions.

  • Strong communication, management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong operational management and Human Resource skills
  • Excellent user/customer relations skills across all levels of the hospital and system
  • Ability to work independently and extremely self-motivated and creative

  • Analytical ability to interpret statistical data and to distinguish trends and other factors that impact operational activity
