As the Manager of North American Marketing Operations, you will establish the operational framework that supports the HP marketing team. Leading a team of professionals specializing in operations, finance, and platforms, you will be responsible for overseeing functions essential to our performance and financial accountability. Additionally, you will lead strategic initiatives designed to advance our marketing practices and foster the development of new capabilities. This position reports directly to the Director of NA Marketing Strategy & Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize operational processes for North American Marketing, emphasizing continuous improvement and strong financial stewardship.
Drive initiatives to enhance the ways of working, including the assessment, evaluation, and implementation of new tools to achieve greater efficiency.
Ensure accurate financial management, overseeing both OPEX and Affiliate funds.
Collaborate with the Marketing Finance and Alliance teams to govern funding and identify new growth opportunities.
Lead process documentation and improvement programs, formalizing and streamlining operations for greater effectiveness.
Conduct rigorous assessments of the data infrastructure to ensure the reliability of metrics and their meaningful impact on business outcomes.
Manage and develop the team, focusing on cultivating their strategic and analytical skills.
Demonstrate a proactive approach, keen attention to detail, and a passion for building a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization.
Education & Experience Recommended
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in segment marketing, channel marketing, partner marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills
Demonstrated financial stewardship, including the ability to oversee finances and create governance structures that ensure compliance.
Capability to develop and lead a team, harnessing their strengths and expanding their potential.
Proficiency in navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and leading organizational change.
Project management experience is considered a plus, as the organization pursues long-term evolution.
The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
