DESCRIPTION:

Join us as a Materials Planning Manager to ensure critical materials are available to support our manufacturing operations. In this key role, you'll lead and develop a team of Material Planners while leveraging advanced ERP/MRP systems to optimize inventory management and supply chain efficiency. You'll collaborate across functions to maintain master data accuracy, manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your strategic planning and leadership will directly support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through innovative scientific solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in materials planning, procurement, or supply chain roles within manufacturing environments
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Professional certifications preferred: APICS (CPIM/CSCP), ISM CPSM, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, ASCP, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts, material requirements planning, and supply chain processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a supply chain environment
  • Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven track record of inventory optimization and cost reduction
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights for S&OE/SIOP meetings
  • Experience with master data management and system integrity maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams
  • English language proficiency required
