Lead the backbone of production readiness in a global biotech environment
At AGC Biologics, production doesn’t start on the shop floor - it starts with the teams who ensure everything is ready before a single step is executed.
As Manager of Manufacturing Operational Support, you will lead the function that enables daily production to run smoothly. From planning and materials coordination to production logistics, your team ensures that operations are prepared, aligned, and ready to deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
This is a role where leadership meets operational impact - where your ability to create structure, connect teams, and drive execution will directly influence production performance across the organization.
Where operational leadership drives production success
In this role, you will lead a team of Planning & Materials Coordinators and Production Logistics Coordinators, acting as the link between shift-based manufacturing and the broader support organization.
You will translate business priorities into daily execution - ensuring that production plans, materials, and equipment are aligned and ready. From coordinating short-term schedules to managing equipment readiness and responding to operational challenges, your work will help keep manufacturing running efficiently and reliably.
You will also play a key role in handling escalations, working closely with Engineering and other stakeholders to resolve issues and minimize disruption to production.
A leadership role with broad organizational impact
Success in this role comes from your ability to lead people while navigating complexity.
You are a visible and engaged leader who works close to both people and operation - creating direction, building structure, and ensuring accountability across your team. You balance hands-on involvement with a performance-driven mindset, enabling your team to deliver consistently while continuing to develop.
In a fast-paced environment, you remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions that support both people and production. At the same time, your collaborative approach allows you to work effectively across functions, ensuring alignment and strong partnerships throughout the organization.
You will coach and develop your team, setting clear expectations and building a strong culture of accountability and ownership. At the same time, you will work cross-functionally with teams across Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Automation, and more - ensuring alignment and collaboration across the entire production setup.
You will represent your area in audits, inspections, and stakeholder interactions, contributing to both compliance and continuous improvement.
What will help you succeed
You bring strong leadership experience combined with a deep understanding of manufacturing operations.
You likely have:
Experience from multi-shift environments, CDMOs, or complex production setups, as well as exposure to audits and inspections, will be an advantage.
A culture built on collaboration and accountability
At AGC Biologics, we believe that strong performance starts with strong teams.
You will join an international environment where collaboration across functions is essential, and where leaders are expected to be visible, hands-on, and engaged. We value structure, clarity, and a proactive mindset - while also fostering a culture where people support each other and take pride in delivering results together.
