What is the Opportunity?

RBC’s Loyalty Partnerships team is responsible for identifying, securing, and fostering deep relationships with partners that are mutually beneficial to the enterprise, our clients, and our partners. These high-value, strategic partnerships accelerate client value and engagement across RBC products and lines of business including RBC’s internationally recognized award-winning loyalty program, Avion Rewards.

As Manager, Loyalty Partnerships, you will play a key executional role in supporting the development and growth of loyalty partnerships across multiple sectors—retail, dining, home & services, and Linked Loyalty partners in grocery, fuel and mass retail categories. This role is ideal for someone with transferable experience looking to enter the partnerships space, focusing on execution, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

This position reports to the Director, Loyalty Partnerships and works closely with internal teams (Analytics, Execution, Marketing, Cards & Loyalty) to drive engagement, integration, and growth.

What Will You Do?

  • Support the Loyalty Partnerships team in aligning programs, tracking growth, and ensuring successful outcomes.

  • Develop partner proposals in collaboration with cross-functional teams to showcase RBC’s value.

  • Drive engagement through monthly/quarterly business reviews, identifying integration opportunities.

  • Create offers and campaigns in partnership with Marketing, ensuring alignment with execution goals.

  • Analyze performance using analytics and reporting to refine strategies and measure success.

  • Design partner materials, including sector reports, post-campaign analyses, and strategic roadmaps.

  • Maintain stakeholder alignment through regular touchpoints and coordination of partnership activities.

  • Contribute to best practices in partner services, reinforcing RBC’s leadership in partnership excellence.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must-Have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in program management, client services, or relationship management, with a track record of growing relationships and achieving mutual goals.

  • Consultative mindset with experience developing business plans for large, multi-faceted partnerships.

  • Strong executional focus—ability to drive operational excellence in partnership management.

  • Experience in retail, dining, home services, grocery, or fuel sectors (or related industries) preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.

  • Collaborative skills—works effectively across teams in ambiguous, agile environments.

  • Financial acumen and a results-driven approach.

  • Project management experience in cross-functional initiatives.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Direct experience in retail or loyalty program management.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills for storytelling and stakeholder engagement.

  • Familiarity with loyalty and rewards programs.
