Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create LEAN Program Master Plan as guidance for sites in Asia (short and medium term)
Continuously review the LEAN program to accommodate latest business challenges
Conduct Zero Loss Diagnostic (ZLD) together with the site leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities and cost savings
Lead cost saving program for Asia manufacturing sites
Proactively work together with Plants Leaders and cross functional team to find opportunities to improve site competitiveness
Develop Manufacturing Operations and Performance System towards World Class Manufacturing standards
Identify and speed up the re-application improvements to all sites in the region
Develop LEAN culture across the sites in ASIA, facilitate the people engagement for improvement, continuously assess LEAN program, and track the progress of Lean Maturity/ Capability
Set the annual targets for LEAN KPIs based on business goals
Lead loss teams, kaizen events and problem-solving events for breakthrough projects within manufacturing sites
Train and coach the plant leadership and teams to improve capability on Lean and continuous improvement tools
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree will be an advantage
Minimum 10 years of work experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement environment in FMCG or similar industries
Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading Lean/Six Sigma initiatives at manufacturing site(s)
Experience in multi-site/regional capacity is desirable
Experienced working experience production/maintenance/engineering/quality at a plant on top of Lean/Six Sigma
Lean/ Six Sigma knowledge such as Mastery of the Lean/Six Sigma principles, Operating Systems, Management Infrastructure, and Mindset, Behaviors and Capabilities. Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
Experience working closely with teams at sites across the region
