Note: This is a fixed-term contract position for 6 months to 1 year.
About the opportunity:
The Manager of Lead Development is responsible for working leads, generating pipeline, monitoring daily team lead flow & operations, and ensuring process alignment. This unique role requires knowledge of both inbound and outbound strategies, as well as the ability to think creatively to troubleshoot lead flow processes. This is a hands-on role that requires strong process management and operational rigor, along with the ability to generate qualified opportunities and collaborate on targeted campaigns. This role will allow you to further grow your prospecting & discovery process, while allowing you to expand your leadership capabilities.
The day-to-day:
- Monitoring daily LDR (Lead Development Representative) performance metrics (activity, conversion rates, pipeline creation, attainment) and addressing gaps in real time
- Review pipeline health daily and ensure consistent, high-quality opportunity generation
- Review data daily to ensure all opportunities created by LDRs are tagged correctly
- Ensure all tools used by the LDR team are running smoothly, including Salesforce, Salesloft, Distribution Engine, and others
- Triage and flag questions about leads, conversion of leads, opportunities, round robin, lead list updates, opportunity routing, and any customer issues
- Oversee inbound lead flow and all reporting associated with the LDR team, including LDR to sales hand-off
- Work Inbound and Outbound leads - Conduct targeted calls and emails to connect with our prospects to uncover new business and growth opportunities
- Track activities and maintain relevant information in Salesforce and other systems
- Proactively look for extra revenue-generating initiatives
What you’ll bring to the role:
- 5+ years of inside or outbound sales experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Strong team player with a ‘’can-do’’ attitude and passion for excellence
- Knowledge of the marketing space, such as CPG structure
- Passionate about digital marketing or visual content trends and landscape
- Must be highly proficient in business tools (i.e. Google tools, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstration of exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional at building relationships
- Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of the location(s) below may differ based on the cost of labor, market, and additional factors.
The pay range for this position is below:
• 95,000 - 115,000 per year in New York
Note: Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
