• Manage and coordinate Human Resources functions and duties at a professional level, providing support to management and employees.
• Administer, implement, coordinate, and evaluate HR services, labor cases, and programs.
• HR functional areas may include labor relations, Great Place to Work initiatives, health services, and general services.
• Manage projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision.
• Provide coaching and review the work of lower level professionals.
• Address difficult and sometimes complex problems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HR processes including staffing, labor relations, and employment law compliance.
  • Apply and promote best practices when recommending and implementing decisions.
  • Build rapport and interact effectively with employees at all levels, considering diverse needs, backgrounds, and cultures.
  • Establish trust and credibility through knowledge of employees, understanding of business objectives, and providing HR‑aligned perspectives in decision‑making.
  • Support organizational realignments, downsizing, outsourcing, and growth initiatives.
  • Contribute effectively as part of multiple teams (HR team, cross‑functional project teams, etc.).
  • Support payroll and benefits processes, addressing related employee issues.
  • Support employee programs and events (e.g., internship programs, New Hire Orientation).
  • Manage the Labor Relations team, overseeing development, supervision, performance, and related activities.
  • Support Focus Factories in all matters related to employee relations, participating in local forums that review KPIs and decision‑making processes.
  • Escalate relevant issues to the supervisor in a timely manner to align with business needs.
  • Monitor HR third‑party services for the Reynosa  plant, review service KPIs, and provide visibility on actions to be taken.
  • Develop, administer, and ensure compliance of general HR programs and policies.
  • Oversee employee labor environment, termination, and records maintenance.
  • Manage employee and labor relations and related communications.
  • Coordinate and/or administer rewards and recognition programs (e.g., Workhuman).
  • HR‑related training in some organizations


Skills and experience

  • 5 to 7 years of minimum experience in Employee Relations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in other HR areas
  • Experience in labor law.
  • Experience in people and team management
  • Strong results orientation with high standards of execution
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (oral and written); strong presentation and public‑speaking skills
  • High service orientation and strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a team
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with all managerial levels and demonstrate teamwork
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, with agility and creativity in proposing solutions
  • Interest in continuous learning and development

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial ,  Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Major in Human Resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications; strong Excel and Word skills
  • Tress System, Excel, & Microsoft office.
