A DAY IN THE LIFE

This position will focus on maintaining day-to-day operational objectives and execution. Will be responsible for managing complex transformation and enterprise-wide Continuous Improvement initiatives ensuring goals, timelines and desired outcomes are met. This position manages a team of continuous improvement professionals, specializing in leading various Continuous Improvement (CI) activities across Blattner’s improvement framework.

STEP INTO THE ROLE

  • Manages a team of Continuous Improvement Analysts leading impactful, complex, and often cross-functional improvement efforts.
  • Executes short-term business plans for the complex/high-impact function of CI.
  • Provides mentorship, coaching, development and performance feedback to team members. Manages, trains and motivates team to meet target goals an objectives.
  • Collaborates with organizational leaders, process owners, colleagues, and stakeholders to develop improvement strategies and plans for assigned projects and initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required and/or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • 5 or more years of progressive project management experience using DMAIC methodology. Proven record of accomplishment of delivering results on assignments preferably inside a construction and/or services company. Previous practical experience leading and/or coordinating special business projects and initiatives and enhancements to enterprise processes and designs, and other strategic initiatives critical to the success of the business. Previous leadership experience required.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • Possess a strong understanding of the DMAIC methodology and various CI tools such as process mapping, RCA, problem solving, gap analysis, etc.
  • Ability to manage those leading multiple short and long term improvement efforts at the same time
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time.

$110,617.00 - $160,396.00 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
