Job Description 

This Team is an essential component of the IT Business that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, and Marketing organizations. 

   

The Manager will be responsible for managing and executing activities to support the global IT Business Continuity, including assisting  stakeholders in developing, implementing, and testing IT Business Continuity activities to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions. This position will primarily support delivery of the business continuity capability across IT to ensure the company can continue to execute key processes and deliver products during disruptions.   

 

What will you do in this role 

 

Support the delivery of the company’s roadmap for business continuity and an “all-hazards” approach (e.g. from natural disasters to cyber-attacks) across the organization. 

Execute assigned tasks based on direction from the business. 

Provide guidance to key stakeholders throughout the lifecycle, including business impact analysis, BC strategy and plan development, scenario-based exercises, and continued evaluation and improvement. 

Support simulation exercises with top third party vendors (e.g. scheduling, documenting results, identifying and remediating findings/risks).  

Collect, share, and provide recommendations to the program lead for program enhancements, based on feedback from partners and stakeholders.  

Stay abreast of the evolving landscape by engaging internal and external communities to learn industry best practices, analyze supporting technologies and systems, assess regulatory implications, and bring insights back to the business. 

Assist stakeholders with the preparation for tabletop exercises, audits, and drive remediation actions. 

Contribute to the preparation of training materials and awareness campaigns in cooperation with the Compliance team. 

Provide administrative and analytical support for compliance projects and daily operations. 

 

What should you have 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years working in a regulated and/or technology industry, with at least 1 year of experience in compliance, risk management, IT governance, or a related field. 
  • Basic understanding of IT business continuity within a regulated industry. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with a wide variety of stakeholders. 
  • Ability to follow established processes and instructions accurately. 
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. 
  • Experience using productivity and collaboration tools, e.g., Office, Teams, and SharePoint. 
  •  

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of compliance and digital regulations. 

Basic knowledge of ISO 22301 and NIST SP 800 series. 

Experience with ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, Apptio Target process.
