KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provide analytical support for Singapore equity strategies, with a focus on SMID cap stocks
- Support coverage across Asean markets, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam
- Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support investment decisions
- Monitor and review existing portfolio holdings, ensuring timely updates and actionable insights
- Generate new research ideas
- Draft comprehensive research reports and present to broader investment teams
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts across sectors and geographies to facilitate channel checks and new ideas generation
- Prepare marketing presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders
- This role is related to the MAS EDDP initiative

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in sell-side or buy-side roles is preferred
- Demonstrated attention to detail, strong work ethic and drive for excellence
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and valuation modelling
- Ability to interpret macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics for market research
- Skilled in Bloomberg and Excel (including advanced functions)
- Expertise in creating impactful reports and presentations using PowerPoint and data visualisation tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements and investment guidelines
- Exposure to ESG analysis and data-driven research techniques (AI/quant tools) is a plus
- Collaborative team player, receptive to feedback and able to provide constructive input
- Entrepreneurial mindset, constantly seeking new investment ideas and opportunities
