The Manager, Institutional Distribution Enablement will operate on a team specializing in technology solutions, central data management, business reporting, and enablement functions for the Manulife Investment Management Institutional team. Under the leadership of the Director, Institutional Distribution Enablement, this role will collaborate with peers and stakeholders to deploy strategic and tactical solutions across our technology stack to enable stronger, easier and faster capabilities for our enterprise institutional business. This role will work within a team and across multiple tools available today, including Salesforce, Seismic, internal data platforms, etc., to help build and support a strong tool foundation amidst a complex and dynamic industry and client channel.
This individual will thrive in a team environment, embracing the opportunity for technical specialty, subject matter expertise, and building solutions for the sales & client relationship management teams. This position requires a deep understanding of business needs, technical acumen, and the ability to translate requirements into successful outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
Requirement Gathering: Engage with business users to understand their challenges and document their requirements in the form of functional expectations.
Solution Design: Design and document solutions, including data models, workflows, and process maps, to address identified business needs.
Technical Collaboration: Collaborate closely with enablement peers, in-house technology partners, and leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the platform.
Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize the selling tool and client intelligence technology platform, leveraging declarative automation and its ecosystem features to build sustainable applications.
Testing & Validation: Participate in the testing phase after implementation to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and business goals.
Training & Support: Develop training agendas & content. Provide ongoing support and feedback to users to ensure effective adoption of the Salesforce platform.
Data Analysis: Analyze data and trends to provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders, helping to improve business processes and efficiency.
Documentation: Create and maintain operational procedures manuals, project documentation, and technical reports.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CRM administrator, analyst or similar.
Strong understanding of sales and data platform capabilities and best practices. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Experience with requirement gathering, solution design, and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Proficient in working across a matrixed organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in creating training materials and providing user support.
Experience in a client-facing or business development culture is a plus.
Experience in asset management or financial services industry a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
