As a Northrop Grumman Industrial Security Manager 3, you will be a valuable asset to our dynamic Security team. This is an opportunity to apply your proven security leadership skills across multiple Northrop Grumman locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and collaborating with a team of security professionals located in Sunnyvale, CA along with providing support to multiple off-site locations in Florida, Georgia, and Washington. This is an on-site and in-person position.

 

The Industrial Security Manager 3 position ensures security compliance with government and company regulations and strives for excellence in executing security milestones across multiple security disciplines (DoD, SAP, & SCI).  This position will require direct interface with both internal and external executive level personnel and the ability to successfully manage competing priorities. This security management role oversees all aspects of security activities within the Marine Systems Business Unit and provides guidance to briefed/non-briefed personnel across all functions of the programs.  The Security Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining program security metrics, and interfacing with facilities Executive Leadership Teams as needed.

 

BASIC QUALFICATIONS:

  • Current Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP access

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8+ years of related proven personnel leadership and business management experience in the field of security; or a master’s degree plus a minimum of 6+ years related proven personnel leadership and business management experience. An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.

  • Proven history of leading diverse teams in operational environments and ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and engaging team environment that is focused on high performance and operational excellence; ability to communicate clear expectations and enforces accountability equitably

  • Demonstrated experience in making critical management and leadership that supports high value contracts across a wide US Government customer spectrum

  • Must have an in-depth knowledge and familiarity with the CFR 32 part 117 (NISPOM); Joint Air Force, Army and Navy (JAFAN), Intelligence Community Directives (ICD); DoD Manuals, and other related security requirements.

 

PREFERRED QUALFICATIONS:

  • Experience with planning, executing business operations and managing personnel, supporting a BU level organization, involving classified and unclassified programs and industrial security operations for collateral, SAP and SCI programs

  • Proven ability to lead security teams across multiple disciplines (entire program security spectrum), to include Program Industrial Security, Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, Information or Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security, International Security

  • Demonstrated experience in planning, managing, and executing complex budgets across diverse and geographically dispersed locations for security operations – to include planning budgets for complex mixtures of direct, indirect and overhead activities

  • Demonstrated experience in development of complex security plans and proposal writing

  • Proven expertise in managing and executing Collateral, Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security programs, to include specific expertise with Collateral, SAP, and SCI security Policies, Directives, Executive Orders, and all other compliance requirements for entire range of SAP and SCI arenas

  • Knowledge and experience with Navy Nuclear Propulsion Information and directives

  • Proven experience in planning and managing staffing and hiring processes for large teams, to include partnerships with HR, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and program management leadership.

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
