Position Summary
The Manager of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) plays a critical role in implementing and managing enterprise-wide identity lifecycle processes, access governance, and compliance initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Identity Access Management, this role leads a team of IGA professionals and collaborates across departments to ensure secure, scalable, and policy-compliant access to systems and data. The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical expertise, leadership experience, and a passion for building secure identity ecosystems in hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead IGA Strategy & Execution: Design and manage enterprise-wide identity lifecycle processes, access provisioning, and certification using platforms like SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta Identity Governance, or Microsoft Entra ID Governance.
Ensure Governance & Compliance: Oversee access reviews, segregation of duties (SoD), and policy enforcement to meet regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA). Maintain audit-ready documentation and collaborate with Legal, HR, and Audit teams.
Drive Technical Integration & Automation: Integrate IGA tools with HR systems, directories, and cloud/on-prem applications. Promote automation of access requests, approvals, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
Champion Zero Trust & Security Principles: Implement least-privilege access models and support enterprise-wide Zero Trust initiatives.
Manage & Develop Team: Lead a high-performing IGA team, fostering growth and cross-functional collaboration with IT, Security Operations, and Application Owners.
Monitor & Improve Systems: Track performance, reporting, and analytics of IGA systems. Stay current with industry trends and emerging identity technologies.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
Hands-on experience with IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta).
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle, RBAC, SoD, and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex technical projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated industries or public company environments.
Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and cloud-native identity solutions.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

The annual base pay for this position is: $132,000.00 - $198,000.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
