Job Description

What is the opportunity?

As the Manager, HR Shared Services, you will be responsible for execution and operational excellence delivering HR services to RBC Businesses.

What will you do?

  • Provide support for on-boarding, off-boarding, other employee life-cycle HR operations as required by the business
  • Process payroll administration for Hong Kong in an effective and timely manner.  Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and contributions
  • Support the implementation of new HR policies and procedures and changes to existing policies and procedures, as and when required
  • Ensure the maintenance of employee files and data in Workday /Payroll System
  • Handle benefits administration works, such as group insurance, pension schemes, Royal Recognition Program, Asian Savings Plan, etc.
  • Communicate promptly with internal and/or external stakeholders for any relevant HR matters
  • Ensure the submission of HR reports and statutory returns (e.g. pension scheme member enrolment and termination, Inland Revenue form filing, etc.) on a timely basis
  • Perform UAT tests and make suggestions for enhancement, if required
  • Observe changes for statutory requirements
  • Implement new changes and enlighten team members on the changes
  • Other ad hoc projects

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong payroll knowledge
  • Knowledge of tax and employment regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with local management, employees at all levels and third party providers
  • Ability to handle effectively the administration of payroll, staff benefits, staff rewards, HR data and other HR operations related matters

Nice-to-have

  • Past experiences in financial industry preferred
  • Experience in Workday, Service Now and FlexHR Payroll System preferred
