The Manager, Health Innovation Strategy will shape and drive the strategic direction of our health innovation initiatives across the Healthcare Strategy & Corporate Development portfolio. This role will identify, source, and develop strategic partnerships with external organizations aligned to business goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners, this role will also support the design and execution of pilot programs focused on innovative health solutions to assess effectiveness, scalability, and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership Development
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify and qualify potential partnership opportunities in the healthcare sector.
Maintain awareness of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging healthcare technologies to inform strategic decisions.
Support opportunity analysis and due diligence activities.
Develop and execute a strategic partnership plan aligned with business objectives.
Assist in creating partnership concepts, evaluating partners, and establishing selection criteria.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key health-related entities, including startups and established companies.
Business Cases & Financial Modeling
Build business cases and financial models that quantify value, define success metrics, and support investment decisions for strategic health partnerships.
Develop value frameworks and measurement approaches to evaluate new and existing programs with external partners.
Translate internal claims data, market research, and external benchmarks into insights that shape partnership strategies and investment cases.
Support the overall partnership strategy by providing analytical rigor for opportunity sizing, partner and solution evaluation, and prioritization.
Pilot Program Development & Evaluation
Manage the lifecycle of health-related pilot programs with external partners from concept to execution to scale up
Define measurement strategies that assess pilot program effectiveness and inform commercialization and full-scale launch decisions in collaboration with product teams.
Collaborate with data and analytics teams to build repeatable measurement frameworks, reporting systems, and dashboards aligned with internal data sources, privacy requirements, and information-sharing parameters.
Synthesize findings to support scaling decisions, case studies, thought leadership, and the evolution of future health products and services.
Knowledge/Education/Experience:
Required Bachelor of Business Administration/Business Commerce or Health/Medical Sciences degree
Master’s degree – MBA, MMA, or related health leadership and business fields.
5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, partnership development, and healthcare.
Previous experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy considered an advantage
Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving, financial modeling and business case development skills.
Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex data trends into understandable concepts.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with ambiguity and incomplete information. Candidates should be comfortable making informed recommendations and developing strategies based on partial datasets.
High ownership mentality and ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong understanding of digital health and health innovation trends.

Salary range is expected to be between
