We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! As part of that commitment, we are excited to share an opportunity for a Manager, Group Product Management – Field Service.
You are a seasoned product leader who understands that in this segment, the service is the product. You possess deep domain expertise in Field Services from foundational operations such as pest control, plumbing, HVAC to dynamic workforce optimization and view software as the indispensable backbone of your customer’s revenue operations.
You understand the P&L of a Field Service fleet. You understand the impact of saving a truck roll and first call visit resolution translates directly to the bottom line and brand reputation. You lead through Influence, not Authority. Lacking ownership of the engineering squad, you persuade the Product Solutions team to build the right features using evidence, not rank.
You possess an Experimental Mindset. You are comfortable with failure and willing to kill a pilot that doesn't work a "Red" decision rather than forcing a launch to save face. You are Data Fluent. You query data to validate hypotheses. In your world, "I think" is unacceptable; "The data shows" is required. This directly means you are a strategic architect, not a backlog administrator. You define the next generation of solutions that power the global field service economy. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
You will define the "Whole Product" strategy and a 3-year roadmap that prioritizes high-margin, scalable features over low-value custom work. Spending 20–40% of your time externally—conducting ride-alongs, dispatcher interviews, and partner meetings—you will aggregate market data into validated requirements using methods such as PR/FAQs and PRDs. You will end "sales-led" development to drive a "product/market-informed" strategy, identifying clearly where Geotab builds versus where we partner.
Acting as the bridge in the "Tripod" partnership, you will empower Revenue Generation with market knowledge while providing Product Design, Platform & Solutions with clear, validated problems. You will drive execution through influence, compelling Platform and Solutions teams to adopt your roadmap by rigorously proving the market opportunity. You will prove solutions work before engaging development, running manual pilots and concierge MVPs to generate validated "Confidence Scores," ensuring we build only what is proven to sell.
You will build, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of 2–3 Product Managers, providing the strategic guardrails and cultural foundation necessary for the group to thrive. You will ensure a seamless flow from Market Need to Solution Build to Sales Execution.
