Manager, Global Supply Chain – Iron Mountain Data Centers (OFCI Execution)
Position Summary
The Manager, Global Supply Chain – Data Center is responsible for the execution, tracking, and performance management of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment supporting Iron Mountain’s global data center construction projects. This role ensures that critical long lead equipment is manufactured, tracked, delivered, and handed over in alignment with project schedules to protect the construction critical path.
The position leads a team responsible for supplier coordination, production schedule tracking, risk mitigation, logistics oversight, and performance reporting. This is a highly execution-focused leadership role accountable for on-time delivery, supplier accountability, and internal production visibility.
Core Responsibilities
OFCI Equipment Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end execution for all IMDC OFCI equipment from post-award through final site delivery.
- Ensure all long-lead and critical-path OFCI equipment is delivered on time and in alignment with construction and Ready for Service schedules.
- Establish structured tracking mechanisms from manufacturing release through FAT, shipment, and site receipt.
- Identify schedule risks early and implement mitigation plans to avoid project delays.
- Coordinate closely with Design Engineering, Construction, Finance and Operations.
- Ensure deviation management is documented, communicated, and resolved quickly.
- Lead recovery plans when suppliers fall behind production schedules and/or equipment quality issues.
- Leads the coordination, approvals and documentation storage of all technical submittals from supplier to IMDC Design Engineering.
- Consolidate production status updates from all suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Own and manage the IMDC weekly production schedule tracker covering all active OFCI equipment
- Validate manufacturing progress, milestone adherence, and forecasted ship dates.
- Escalate critical schedule risks to leadership with clear recovery strategies.
- Continuously improve reporting accuracy, format, and data integrity.
OFCI Supplier Performance Management
- Establish and maintain performance scorecards for all IMDC OFCI equipment suppliers.
- Conduct recurring performance reviews with strategic OFCI suppliers.
- Hold suppliers accountable to contractual production timelines and recovery commitments.
- Identify systemic supplier risks and develop contingency strategies (capacity constraints, material shortages, labor disruptions, etc.).
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership regarding supplier reliability trends.
Market & Capacity Monitoring (Execution Focused)
- Maintain visibility into manufacturing capacity constraints impacting OFCI equipment.
- Monitor industry lead time shifts and proactively adjust project delivery forecasts.
- Identify logistics constraints that may impact transportation of large-scale electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Partner with internal teams to assess impact of design changes on production schedules and delivery sequencing.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and manage a team of supply chain professionals responsible for OFCI tracking and execution.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for direct reports.
- Establish measurable team goals aligned with IMDC leadership strategy.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Drive a culture of team work, accountability, urgency, and proactive risk management.
- Oversee workload prioritization across multiple projects and markets.
- Ensure standardization of tracking tools, reporting formats, and supplier communication processes across the team.

Qualifications
- 4 year college degree in supply chain, finance or business management required. C.P.M. or equivalent certifications preferred. MBA, MS preferred.
- Experience in the providing these services in the Data Center industry preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in capital equipment execution, construction supply chain, or mission-critical infrastructure delivery.
- 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
Reasonably expected salary range: $142,100.00 - $189,400.00
