As a Manager – Global PSP Business Process Office, you will lead and execute global oversight for Amgen’s Patient Support Programs (PSPs). This role provides strategic and operational guidance to PSP managers and other key stakeholders, ensuring PSPs are designed, implemented, and monitored in alignment with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
You will serve as a trusted compliance partner to global and regional stakeholders, drive risk-based oversight activities, and contribute to shaping Amgen’s global PSP compliance strategy.
Responsibilities
- Global PSP Compliance Leadership:
Support global PSP owners in their oversight of Patient Support Programs by providing guidance and monitoring to ensure consistent application of standards, policies, and risk mitigation practices - Risk Assessment & Oversight Strategy:
Proactively identify, assess, and manage compliance risks associated with PSP models, vendors, and operations; advise on risk-mitigation & oversight plans. - Review & Approval Leadership:
Provide compliance review and guidance on PSP structures, operational models, vendor arrangements, and materials, exercising independent judgment. - Issue & Escalation Management:
Support PSP audit activities, including advisory on corrective actions and associated documentation - Stakeholder Partnership:
Act as a key partner with PSP managers, Safety, PV Compliance, Quality, and other business partners across geographies. - Governance & Reporting:
Own PSP process reporting, metrics, and governance updates for leadership. - Process & Control Enhancement:
Drive continuous improvement of PSP processes, trainings, tools, controls, and documentation. - Leadership & Talent Development:
Provide guidance, coaching, and day-to-day oversight of Senior Associate or other team members supporting PSP compliance activities.

Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 6–8 years of compliance, legal, or pharmaceutical/biotech experience
OR - Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience leading compliance oversight for US and global Patient Support Programs or similar healthcare programs
- Strong understanding of global pharmaceutical compliance requirements and regulatory expectations
- Demonstrated experience operating independently and making risk-based compliance decisions
- Proven ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders, and manage complex issues
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations across regions and time zones
- Prior people leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
- Ability to balance compliance rigor with practical business solutions
- Comfort leading change, driving process improvements, and shaping compliance strategy
