Hourly Pay Range:

$48.93 - $75.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Manager, Gastrointestinal Services

  • Location: Glenbrook Hospital

  • Full time

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30p

  • Required Travel: To Highland Park, Skokie and Evanston Hospitals

What you will do:

  • The purpose of this job is to safely and efficiently manage the Gastroenterology Lab operations in pursuit of local and organizational goals. The individual in this role may also function in a clinical capacity, dependent on their qualifications.

What you will need:

  • Education:

    •  BSN or MSN

  • Certification/ License:

    • IL RN License

    • CPR BLS issued through AHA

    • ACLS issued through AHA

  • Experience:

    • Five years experience in a GI/Endoscopy clinical setting preferred

    • One year of management experience preferred

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • The interpersonal skills necessary to interact with physicians and all levels of hospital personnel.

    • The organizational skills necessary to plan and coordinate the services provided by multiple care areas/departments.

    • The analytical skills to develop and maintain a budget, evaluate services and write plans/proposals on new programs or improved services.

    • The communication skills necessary to convey information in a clear, concise and persuasive manner.

    • The facilitation skills necessary to bring together groups of individuals who have diverse needs and interests to develop a service line that meets the needs of patients, physicians, payors and the organization.

    • The ability to manage within a matrix organization structure.
