What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Finance partner for the Specialty Products Upstream Marketing team, who manages the Specialty product portfolio strategy, including product lifecycle management (PLM), new product launches, SKU rationalization, etc.

  • Responsible for modeling the impact of new product launches and creating business cases for projects requiring capital; works closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Sourcing, regional teams to build projections

  • Key participant in PLM process, which defines the strategy and key initiatives for each category

  • Partners cross functionally with Planning, Downstream Marketing, International teams to build five-year demand plans for Specialty categories

  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and reporting on the Specialty Upstream Marketing team expenses

  • Creates monthly results review deck for Specialty

  • Report on global sales and margin results and drivers for Specialty

  • Partners closely with the US and International Finance teams supporting the downstream organization

  • Manage the E&O inventory reserve process for the Specialty portfolio

  • Help manage product allocation process between regions and resolve supply issues/expedited freight requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred 

  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred

  • Business Partnering experience preferred

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
