We are currently seeking a Manager, Financial Business Partnering

You will join a team that provides independent, objective financial insight and leadership to support strategic decision‑making and business performance. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role plays a critical part in driving revenue growth, forecasting, margin management, and delivering high‑quality financial reporting across an assigned portfolio.

This is a people leadership role, ideal for an experienced finance professional looking to make a strategic impact in a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high‑performing Project Finance Analyst (PFA) team, delivering best‑in‑class financial support
  • Hire, coach, and develop new and existing talent with a strong focus on excellence and collaboration

Financial Ownership

  • Revenue Management:
    • Ensure revenue is accurately recorded and forecasted across the portfolio
    • Support pre‑close revenue reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
    • Drive revenue optimisation initiatives to maximise portfolio performance
  • Billing & Cash Collections:
    • Monitor invoicing flow and aged debtors to maintain cash neutrality
    • Engage with clients to resolve invoicing and cash collection matters
  • Margin Management:
    • Monitor project margin performance and identify corrective actions
    • Partner with the business to drive ongoing margin improvements
  • Client & Management Reporting:
    • Deliver accurate and timely client financial reporting in line with committed deadlines
    • Prepare ad‑hoc management presentations and support strategic decision‑making

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively support process improvement initiatives to streamline activities, add value, and enhance client outcomes

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant ideally with 5 years + PQE.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and analyse large data sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Experience in a project‑based revenue environment is a strong advantage
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent working knowledge of MS Office
  • Prior experience with financial systems and tools such as Oracle, Hyperion, Alteryx, Power BI, Excel Macros, or similar is desirable
