Manager – Finance (Real Estate) 

About the Role 

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience to manage accounting operations, statutory compliances, and treasury management for a group of real estate entities. 

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong ownership, capable of handling multiple entities, regulatory compliances, vendor management, and financial reporting. The candidate will also play a key role in strengthening internal processes and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements. 

The role involves close coordination with senior management, auditors, and internal teams including operations. 

In this role, you will have plenty of opportunity to grow professionally, take independent decisions with respect to accounts operations including compliances and manage a team of 3-4 accountants. You will be reporting to the senior management including the CEO and be part of the Accounts and Finance team of 8 people.  

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Accounting & Finance Operations
  • Monitor daily fund balances and plan deployment of surplus funds in mutual funds / fixed deposits. 
  • Verify vendor invoices, process vendor payments, and ensure proper documentation including tax invoices. 
  • Ensure accurate accounting entries and bank statement postings in Tally. 
  • Perform ledger scrutiny across multiple entities and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Identify and resolve vendor issues such as missing invoices, GST default cases, incorrect account payments etc. 
  • Ensure inter-company reconciliations and balance confirmations. 

 

  1. Statutory & Regulatory Compliances
  • Ensure timely filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). 
  • Perform GST reconciliation between GSTR-2B and books and identify missing invoices or GST defaulters. 
  • Ensure TDS deduction, deposit by 7th of each month, and quarterly return filing. 
  • Monitor RERA quarterly filings and compliance requirements. 
  • Manage ROC compliances including Form 11, DIR-3 KYC, DPT-3 etc. 
  • Ensure advance tax computations and payments as per due dates. 
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits of multiple entities. 

 

  1. Real Estate Specific Compliance
  • Monitoring RERA quarterly progress reporting (QPR) & Annual Progress Report (APR) 
  • Ensuring GST 80% utilization compliance for project entities. 

 

  1. Financial Reporting & MIS
  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing. 
  • Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review. 
  • Assist senior management in financial planning and analysis where required. 

 

  1. Audit & Process Improvement
  • Coordinate statutory audits across group entities. 
  • Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes. 
  • Improve documentation and compliance tracking systems. 

 

Candidate Profile 

  • Chartered Accountant (CA). 
  • 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation and statutory compliances. 
  • Experience handling multiple entities or group structures preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Companies Act and ROC compliances. 
  • Experience with Tally and MS Excel. 
  • Exposure to real estate industry / RERA compliance will be an advantage. 
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership and problem-solving ability. 

 

Compensation 

CTC: Up to ₹18 LPA (based on experience and capability)
