Field Service Representative (Onsite)
The Pratt & Whitney Commercial Engines Customer Business organization has an exciting opportunity for an on-site Pratt & Whitney Field Service Representative (FSR) supporting a dynamic customer base. This position provides on-wing support for our customer and requires both technical expertise and the ability to build strong customer relationships at our largest installed base 1100G operator. Significant support of 1900G, 1500G, V2500 and PW4000 operators will also be part of this assignment. We are searching for a highly motivated and qualified individual to bolster the world class customer support we currently provide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical in nature: Provide the assigned customer(s) with technical and operational program support for various engine groups. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and managing on-wing operational issues, customer concerns, and provide 24-hour comprehensive technical support and customer assistance. A solid working knowledge of the various engine families, along with troubleshooting expertise is preferred.
- CFT support: provide support to the tripartite portions of the Customer Focus Team (Sales. Service Programs. Customer Business, support functions) with specific responsibility as defined in the RASCI. Candidate must be comfortable interacting with and providing real time information to assigned Customer Focus Team (CFT) across internal group lines with clarity and speed.
- Customer Relationship: The operator’s first contact to address all (technical and business) concerns.
- The individual must be able to work with a full spectrum of an airline company’s staff, interfacing frequently with all customer employees, from Executives to Line Technicians; the candidate must be comfortable interacting with and providing real time information to highest level customer management representative.
- Previous experience in a customer facing position interacting with all levels of customer and PW internal management is highly valued.
- Ability to work independently: A successful candidate for this role needs to be well organized, have demonstrated leadership experience, and be comfortable maintaining field office requirements.
- This position requires 24/7 accessibility for the customer, and will rely heavily on strong troubleshooting abilities. A qualified candidate should possess a positive attitude, have a good work ethic and be a self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of experience or advanced degree and minimum of 5 years of experience as defined below .
- Progressively responsible experience at an airline or OEM or related industry support function is required.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a customer facing role/environment is preferred; Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

- This position will be located in a remote Field Office location in Budapest Hungary.
- This is a local position without expat remote assignment benefits. Candidates must be authorized to work in Hungary. Relocation is not supported by the company
