Job Description
Manage facilities maintenance personnel, including work assignment, training, coaching, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety-related procedures, and SOPs. Support incident reporting and investigations. Ensure good documentation practices and accurate training records.
Establish clear goals, priorities, and expectations aligned with Facilities Maintenance objectives.
Support employee development and ensure completion of required training.
Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for site facilities and infrastructure.
Provide technical expertise in facilities operations. Review completed work orders and resolve moderately complex operational issues.
Manage external vendors and contractors supporting facilities operations. Ensure contractors comply with site procedures, safety, and quality requirements.
Support Facilities Operations planning activities. Assist with procedure development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a facilities technician in a commercial environment.
Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing a team toward defined goals
Demonstrated ability to set clear expectations, provide feedback, and manage performance
Experience managing outside contractors and coordinating maintenance activities.
Familiarity with building management systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression, Elevator, and Security systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to document activities clearly and write comprehensive reports.
Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance systems, leadership capability, communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.
