As the Manager - Learning Technology & Enterprise Learning Enablement, you will lead the strategy, operations, and optimization of Capital Group’s enterprise learning technology ecosystem - including platforms such as Degreed, Workday Learning, and our suite of learning design tools/platforms. You will ensure these tools are effectively leveraged to support scalable, personalized learning experiences across the organization. You will consider the integration of AI-powered capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot and other enterprise agents, ensuring all solutions follow the established enterprise AI review and approval process.
In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the newly formed Enterprise Learning Council, a cross-functional group of learning leaders focused on aligning learning strategies, sharing best practices, and identifying opportunities to scale curriculum and capabilities. You will help evolve coordination across the learning landscape, enabling Capital Group to better leverage its collective learning investments and drive measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Learning Technology
You will lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of enterprise learning platforms including Degreed, Workday Learning, and instructional design tools.
You will Partner with Global Technology, HR Technology, and Learning & Development teams to ensure platforms are integrated, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
You will establish learning data governance standards to enable consistent measurement of skill development, adoption, and ROI across the enterprise.
Drive the integration of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) into the learning ecosystem through established evaluation and approval channels to enhance personalization, content creation, and learner support.
You will monitor usage, adoption, and ROI of learning technologies; identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
You will support platform vendor relationships, renewals, and roadmap planning.
You will enable learning teams across the organization to effectively use tools to design and deliver impactful learning experiences.
You will promote a culture of career ownership and continuous learning through innovative technology solutions.
You will partner with senior leaders to diagnose needs, design solutions, and implement impactful learning strategies.
Enterprise Learning Enablement
You will serve as the operational lead for the Enterprise Learning Council.
You will design the council’s operating rhythm, communication cadence, and metrics dashboard to ensure visibility and impact tracking.
You will facilitate collaboration among learning leaders across business units to align on shared goals, curriculum, and best practices.
You will identify opportunities to scale learning programs, reduce duplication, and increase impact across the enterprise.
You will develop communication and engagement strategies to support council initiatives and outcomes.
You will track and report on council progress, outcomes, and impact to senior leadership.
You will ensure learning technology and council initiatives reflect global perspectives and local needs.

You have experience managing enterprise learning platforms and tools in a large, matrixed organization.
You have a strong understanding of learning technology ecosystems, including LMS, LXP, instructional design tools, and AI-powered learning capabilities.
You have experience driving cross-functional collaboration and leading strategic initiatives.
You have the ability to translate business needs into scalable learning technology solutions.
You have experience integrating AI tools into learning workflows to enhance efficiency and learner experience.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
You have experience with vendor management and platform governance.
You have familiarity with learning analytics and ROI measurement.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, HR, Technology, or related field – or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $136,858-$218,973
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
