Base salary will be in the range $117,958 - $132,247 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 8)

The Manager, Enterprise Application Support leads the delivery of operational support and administration for key enterprise applications within the University’s Information Technology Services (ITS) division. The role is responsible for ensuring the stability, reliability and performance of critical systems that support the University’s operations, while driving continuous improvement in application support practices and service delivery.
Leading a team of functional and technical specialists, the position works closely with stakeholders across the University to coordinate support activities, manage system issues and contribute to the strategic planning and ongoing improvement of enterprise application platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
Lead the delivery of enterprise application support services, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, service requests and escalations across supported systems
Provide advanced technical analysis, troubleshooting and system administration to maintain application stability, performance and data integrity
Manage and develop a team of functional and technical staff, including workload coordination, capability development and performance management
Maintain and enhance application support processes, monitoring practices and stakeholder engagement to improve service quality and operational outcomes

You are an experienced applications support leader with strong technical knowledge and a collaborative leadership style. You bring the ability to manage complex systems and stakeholder relationships while driving high-quality service delivery across a dynamic organisational environment.
You will demonstrate:
A bachelor’s degree in IT, business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
Extensive experience supporting enterprise applications, including administration, troubleshooting and operational support for business-critical systems
Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing technical or functional support teams
Strong operational management capability, including coordinating workloads, managing service levels and meeting organisational priorities
Knowledge of enterprise application governance, cybersecurity practices and compliance requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex system issues and deliver practical solutions
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a large organisation
A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Desirable: Experience supporting enterprise systems in a higher education environment, particularly platforms such as PeopleSoft (Campus Solutions or Finance), and experience contributing to process improvement or application platform roadmaps.
