About the role

The Manager – Energy Assets Technology Solution Delivery is a critical leadership role within the Energy Assets Technology (EAT) team. This team plays a pivotal role in enabling the energy transition to renewables by delivering innovative technology solutions for a rapidly growing and diverse portfolio. As a leader, you will shape and guide complex technology initiatives over a multi-year horizon, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals. You’ll foster collaboration, champion diversity and inclusion, and create an environment where every team member can thrive and contribute their best.This role bridges technical expertise and project delivery, guiding initiatives from ideation through to completion, and uplifting team capability through mentoring and resource planning. You will also manage contracts, budgets, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop talent, supporting career growth, providing feedback, and driving capability uplift within the technology community.
  • Shape and deliver the EAT project portfolio, including initiative scoping, budgeting, resource planning, and sequencing in alignment with strategic roadmaps.
  • Oversee technology project delivery, ensuring solutions meet business objectives, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage vendor and contract relationships, flexing resources to meet project demands and driving efficiencies for cost control and improved service delivery.
  • Ensure operational excellence, including adherence to IT Service Management frameworks, change management processes, and health, safety, and environment standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Inclusive leadership capability with experience inspiring teams, managing workloads, and fostering collaboration across diverse technical and project delivery groups.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, able to identify business needs, evaluate solutions, and drive process improvements for best practice outcomes.
  • Technical proficiency across operational systems and platforms, including networking, cloud computing, virtualization, cybersecurity principles, and compliance with industry standards (AESCSF, ISA-95, IEC 62443, SOCI Act).
  • Project delivery expertise, with strengths in budgeting, risk management, time management, and adaptability to lead complex initiatives in dynamic environments.
