Your Role: Distribution Manager

As a Distribution Manager, you will oversee personnel, processes, and materials across capping, labeling, packing, shipping, receiving and MRO parts management.  You will ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, drive departmental performance through technical and analytical skills, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet business objectives and ensure reliable supply.

Your Responsibilities:

• Incorporate Operational Excellence initiatives and practices into all day-to-day operations.
• Monitor daily manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Outlines of Production (OOP).
• Ensure team members have the required training and expertise, and lead by example to maintain a safe work environment.
• Lead the implementation of changes and process deviation investigations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of production records.
• Manage the department budget, monitor attendance, and approve time off reporting.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Distribution

Top 2 skills: Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills and ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams; irreproachable safety and quality culture.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
• Animal Health/Pharmaceutical industry experience and familiarity with USDA and other regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
