The strategy team leads highly visible, impactful, and challenging projects for Levi Strauss & Co. We are seeking a Strategy Manager to help drive our organization’s vision and digital & technology strategy. Ideal candidates will have a background at a leading management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) or corporate strategy within a large retail fashion/apparel or consumer-based company in Latin America.
In this role, you will manage strategic projects and develop insights that support the company’s growth and profitability. You should bring strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and communication abilities to influence high-level decisions and partner with cross-functional teams.
About the Job
Strategic Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth strategic analyses and develop executive-level insights and recommendations that drive the long-term vision and create value for the organization
Storytelling & Presentation: Develop high-impact presentations (e.g., PowerPoint decks) through compelling storytelling and clear visuals, effectively communicating findings to senior leadership
Financial Modeling: Build and use financial models to project global market trends, size opportunities, evaluate costs, and analyze ROI/impact to support strategic decision-making
Market Research & Tools: Own and use market intelligence tools to identify external trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks. Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry best-practice research, especially on the retail and apparel sector globally
Cross-Functional Partnership: Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product, operations, finance) to support and guide key strategic initiatives. Ensure output aligns with the overall strategy and deliver impact
Leadership Presentations: Prepare ad-hoc insights and contribute to strategy materials for high-level leadership presentations and strategy reviews
Innovation & AI Enablement: Stay up-to-date with digital & technology trends (including AI tools) in the retail industry. Leverage these innovations responsibly to enhance and automate research, analysis and productivity in day-to-day activities
Transformation Support: Support transformation initiatives by providing strategic oversight and ensuring initiatives remain aligned to our broader strategy
About You
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a management consulting role at a leading firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, etc.) or in a corporate strategy position within a major retail or fashion/apparel and consumer goods company
Strategic Skills Set: Proven ability in strategy development and strategic thinking. Experience driving or supporting global strategic initiatives with understanding of internal market dynamics (including the US and Europe)
Financial & Business Acumen: Solid business acumen with understanding of financial metrics; ability to perform basic financial modeling and interpret P&L/ROI implications for strategic choices
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to distill complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives for executive audiences. Fluent English (written and spoken) is required
Digital Savvy: Familiarity with digital & technology trends and innovations in the retail sector. Comfortable working with tools and data and embracing new technologies (e.g., AI-driven analytics) to drive insights
Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations and Excel for managing complex data analysis
