Business Overview
The Manager, Digital Marketing Automation, will aim to create exceptional, personalized customer experiences by delivering the right message, at the right time, in the right format across all of Fidelity’s digital channels.
Responsibilities include campaign planning and execution, maintenance and continuous improvement optimization of marketing campaigns, leveraging marketing A.I. to create efficiencies, and other related marketing technology initiatives. The objectives are to drive sales, mitigate redemptions, and successfully promote awareness of Fidelity’s brands, products and services.
Key Accountabilities
Team management
Lead a team in the development and maintenance of Fidelity’s digital channels to maximize distribution of our content to investors and advisors. Ensure the efficient operations of Fidelity’s marketing automation and sales enablement platforms, along with other marketing technology.
Digital Marketing, marketing automation and sales enablement
Develop digital marketing and sales enablement strategies to support organizational goals.
Own and execute Fidelity’s marketing automation and sales enablement strategies
Own the marketing automation and sales enablement platform roadmap and strategies
Create tailored audience segments for maximum engagement and impact
Act as the subject matter expert for Fidelity’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd party datasets
Own the ongoing process that equips the sales teams to have consistently effective engagements with prospects and customers across the buyer journey
Manage the efficient operations of Fidelity’s marketing automation and sales enablement platforms
Identify trends and insights to optimize campaign performance
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to optimize user experience
Strategy and execution
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics and I.S. to develop a deep understanding of client preferences and design personalized customer journeys based on insights gleaned from data.
Responsibilities include:
Work closely with Sales teams to create a backlog of high-value enhancements and features relating to marketing automation and sales enablement platforms
End-to-end campaign execution includes design, development, launch, and tracking
Automating content and campaigns
Developing new campaigns on a quarterly basis aligning with Fidelity’s overall key messages and brand
Executing lead nurture campaigns, re-engagement campaigns and onboarding campaigns to drive sales and build loyalty
Supporting FIC fund launch campaigns using data driven approaches
Developing and continuously refining lead scoring rules for handing over opportunities to the Sales teams
Developing and documenting best practices including list management, optimization, data quality and troubleshooting
End to end project management and production of all performance related materials (MarketPulse, FundPulse, Fact Sheets, Quarterly Fund Review, Performance Updates)
Marketing effectiveness measurement and reporting
Produce regular reporting and campaign tracking to increase marketing effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Sales and Business Analytics to understand client segments
Tracking campaign metrics, website content and other digital metrics to enhance performance and align Marketing and Sales
Leveraging campaign analytics, along with industry, customer and competitor insights to inform strategies and tactics
Optimizing marketing automation programs for maximum performance
Identifying and scaling marketing best practices – highest open rates, click through rates, form complete rates, engagement
Using industry best practices such as A/B testing and database segmentation to constantly refine learnings and improve performance
Developing regular reporting on campaign performance
Automation, A.I. and digital execution subject matter expert
Bring a wide range of digital expertise to all projects and act as a subject matter expert for marketing in areas such as automation and A.I.
Responsibilities include:
Advising and assisting Marketing teams on automation, digital execution and A.I.-related projects
Working with internal technology partners to find innovative solutions to business problems
Collaborating with stakeholders such as Sales, Business Analytics, Finance and I.S. to build business cases for initiatives
Defining and writing business requirements for new projects and initiatives
Reviewing and signing off on business requirements for related projects and acting as SME as needed
Conducting ongoing research into digital trends in the industry to ensure Fidelity Canada is pursuing a market-leading digital strategy
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills including the ability to leverage data to formulate solutions that address complex business problems
Creative thinking with a passion for growth and performance marketing
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required
The ability to multi-task and manage multiple ongoing projects
Project management, organizational abilities and strong analytical skills essential

Education and Skills
University Degree (Bachelor Degree) Marketing, Business, Arts, Math, IT-related or Engineering background or equivalent work experience
5+ yrs deep understanding of marketing automation (Marketo preferred)
Experience using CRMs (Salesforce preferred)
Understanding of sales enablement (e.g. Seismic)
Adobe Analytics certified; Marketo certified expert preferred
Nice to Have
Experience using digital analytics platforms for campaign reporting (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau)
Advanced knowledge of innovative marketing practices across multiple channels (email, webinars, SEM/SEO, display, social, events, etc.)
Database administration expertise is an asset
Knowledge of website personalization tools is an asset (Adobe Test and Target)

Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $146,000 to $164,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
