Manager, Digital Investment & Custom Content

Position Summary

The Manager of Digital Investment and Custom Content is a dynamic and strategic role responsible for leading the development and execution of all digital media investment strategies, partnership negotiations, and custom content programs for our B2B clients. This individual will drive innovative solutions that combine traditional digital media buying with bespoke content creation and syndication, ensuring alignment with client KPIs and business objectives.

This role requires a blend of strong negotiation skills, strategic media planning expertise, and a creative eye for impactful content. The Manager will foster robust relationships with digital media partners, oversee campaign execution, and ensure the seamless integration of custom content and syndication efforts to deliver groundbreaking work that resonates within the B2B landscape. They will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables and potentially mentoring a team of associates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic digital media investment and partnership initiatives for B2B clients, aligning with their specific business goals and KPIs.
  • Manage and execute negotiations with digital media partners to secure competitive pricing, optimal placements, and innovative partnership opportunities.
  • Communicate marketplace intelligence, negotiation strategies, and partnership recommendations to clients, providing strategic counsel.
  • Maintain daily client contact, manage requests, and foster strong, collaborative relationships with digital media partners.
  • Oversee budget management, billing, and campaign oversight for all digital investment programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Analytics, Ad Operations, Creative, PR) to ensure integrated campaign planning and execution.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and execution of digital custom content programs with media partners, tailored for B2B audiences.
  • Manage content syndication programs to ensure effective distribution, reach, and engagement within the B2B ecosystem.
  • Support the creation of branded content and sponsorships from concept to execution, working collaboratively with media partners and internal/external creative teams.
  • Ensure all custom content initiatives align with the B2B client's strategies, objectives, and brand guidelines, translating complex B2B concepts into engaging content.
  • Act as a key liaison between clients, media partners, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Provide guidance on reports and presentations, ensuring data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Delegate and oversee the workload of Associates and Negotiators, fostering their growth and development

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 4+ years in digital media planning, investment, partnerships, and custom content/sponsorships, preferably with B2B clients.
  • Strong understanding of digital media tools, ad serving technology (e.g., DCM, Prisma, DoubleVerify, etc.), and proven experience in developing and executing branded content and syndication programs.
  • Ability to develop impactful and strategic media plans, negotiate effectively, and implement data-driven measurement to assess ROI.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills for clients and media partners.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently.

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
