Job Summary: You will serve as a MANAGER in the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department (M), Industrial Support Deputy Department (MY) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-06 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.

Major Duties:

  • You will provide direction and oversight to select divisions within the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department.
  • You will be responsible for the oversight, direction, policy, development, and strategic planning, as well as the day to-day operations of efforts related to operations support, Navy weapons, production test and evaluation, and energetics movement.
  • You will oversee and execute work in support of the overall strategic goals of the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department.
  • You will serve as the subject matter expert and principal advisor to the Energetics Manufacturing Technology Department Head regarding the domains of operations support, Navy weapons, production test and evaluation, and energetics movement.
  • You will be responsible for providing input and consultation on strategic plans; developing metrics and controls to properly allocate resources to manage and align operations.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing program efforts in the direction and development of strategic plans to ensure effective operations are met in support of strategic goals for an organization.
