Manager, Dental Product Management and Development

Position Summary

Support the dental product portfolio by partnering with Sr. Managers to execute product strategy, conduct market and competitive research, and support product development initiatives. This role plays a critical executional and analytical function—designing tracking tools, managing timelines, coordinating information gathering, and delivering clear updates that enable effective product decision-making. The position contributes across the full product lifecycle while supporting cross-functional collaboration and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Support Sr. Managers by tracking project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, and providing clear, regular status updates.
  • Design, maintain, and improve databases, trackers, and tools used to manage product pipelines, competitive intelligence, and portfolio reporting.
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research; synthesize findings into clear summaries to support product strategy and decision-making.
  • Coordinate information gathering across cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Network, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Support products across the full product lifecycle, including concept development, development support, launch readiness, and post-launch tracking.
  • Assist in documenting product requirements, specifications, and updates in partnership with Sr. Managers and stakeholders.
  • Support go-to-market activities by preparing product summaries, training materials, timelines, and launch documentation.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend creative solutions to improve tracking, workflows, and team efficiency.
  • Prepare clear, organized materials for manager-level and leadership reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a related role within insurance, healthcare, or a similar regulated industry.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience building or maintaining tracking tools, reports, databases, or dashboards to support product or project management.
  • Ability to conduct research and analysis and clearly summarize findings for different audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with Sr. Managers and cross-functional partners.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in the insurance industry; exposure to dental insurance products preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting product development or product portfolio management activities.
  • Experience supporting sales enablement, training materials, or product documentation.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle concepts or formal product development processes.
  • Advanced Excel or data-tracking skills; experience designing tools to improve visibility and decision-making.


Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
