Our approach to R&D Position Summary You will lead data acquisition and data management activities for clinical studies in India. You will plan and deliver study databases from design through archival. You will work closely with clinical teams, statisticians, programmers and external vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely data. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead end-to-end data management for one or more clinical studies, ensuring quality and delivery to plan. - Design and review electronic case report forms and clinical outcome assessments with cross-functional partners. - Create and execute study-level data management plans, including data ingestion, cleaning, reconciliation, database lock, and archival. - Oversee and provide sponsor oversight of outsourced data providers and ensure vendor deliverables meet agreed standards. - Produce clear status reports, risk logs and timelines; identify risks early and escalate when needed. - Coach and mentor junior colleagues and promote consistent use of clinical data standards and good practices. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals - Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical data acquisition, clinical data management, or similar roles in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO environments. - Hands-on experience with electronic data capture systems and database build activities. - Practical experience in data cleaning, reconciliation and interim and final database lock. - Experience managing vendors or providing sponsor oversight for outsourced services. - Strong written and spoken English and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus - Experience supporting Phase II or Phase III clinical studies. - Familiarity with clinical data standards such as CDISC and with regulatory data submission expectations. - Experience working within Functional Service Provider or Full Service Outsourcing delivery models. - Prior experience mentoring or leading small data management teams. - Knowledge of electronic Trial Master File processes and study document archival. - Basic understanding of clinical trial design and protocol development. Working arrangement This role is based in India and is hybrid. You will split time onsite with local teams and stakeholders and work remotely. Exact onsite days will be agreed with your manager.
