Position Overview
Huron is seeking a Manager to join our Data Management & Analytics (DMA) team within the Healthcare provider segment. This role is a client-facing leadership position responsible for leading data strategy, governance, and architecture engagements while managing project teams, resources, and deliverables.

As a Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, translating complex data and analytics challenges into actionable strategies and operating models. You will guide clients in leveraging data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to deliver better care, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Advisory

  • Lead end-to-end data strategy, data governance, and data architecture engagements for healthcare provider clients
  • Facilitate and lead executive-level conversations with clinical, operational, financial, and IT leaders
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients align data and analytics initiatives to strategic, clinical, and operational priorities
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, executive-ready insights and recommendations

Project & Team Management

  • Manage overall project execution, including scope, timeline, budget, risks, and quality of deliverables
  • Lead and mentor project team members, providing day-to-day guidance and performance feedback
  • Coordinate work across multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables including strategies, operating models, roadmaps, and presentations

Data, Analytics & AI Focus

  • Guide clients in defining future-state data operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps
  • Provide leadership on data management concepts, including:
    • Data governance and stewardship
    • Data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms
    • Analytics, reporting, and insight enablement
    • Data quality, metadata, and master data management
  • Advise on the responsible use of AI and AI-enabled analytics, including generative AI, predictive analytics, and automation, within healthcare environments

Practice & Firm Contribution

  • Support business development through proposal development, client presentations, and solution shaping
  • Contribute to the growth of Huron’s Data Management & Analytics capabilities, assets, and thought leadership
  • Stay current on emerging healthcare data, analytics, and AI trends and apply them to client solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of relevant experience in consulting, healthcare analytics, data management, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements and managing project teams
  • Strong understanding of data strategy, governance, and architecture concepts and their application in healthcare provider organizations
  • Experience working with healthcare data across clinical, operational, and financial domains
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and AI-enabled analytics tools, including applying AI to support insights, automation, and decision-making
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Willingness to travel as required by client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience serving healthcare provider organizations (health systems, academic medical centers, hospitals, physician groups)
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) and modern analytics tools
  • Cloud solution architecture certifications (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, Fabric Data Engineer)
  • Experience supporting business development efforts and mentoring junior consultants

The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 - $170,000 USD. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $166,750 - $212,500 USD. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
