Job Description

Title: Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting

Overview
The Data Management & Analytics (DMA) team at David Yurman is responsible to support several business objectives by delivering state of the art data management solutions. We are looking for a Analytics and Reporting Manager - Data Management to lead analytics engineers within DY-DMA.

This role will oversee end-to-end delivery of various data management solutions including timely delivery of reports and dashboards as well as analytical KPIs to enable data driven decision making. This role will be responsible to lead a team of data management professionals in successful delivery of data and analytics. This is a hybrid position location in New York City.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own Reporting and Insights roadmap for DY.
  • Lead design & implementation of operational KPIs and reporting.
  • Lead modernization efforts to democratize data access for the business community.
  • Assume ownership of centralized analytical data layer (aka Golden Data Layer)
  • Define data quality standards and implement automated data quality processes.
  • Lead multiple Reporting projects primarily on Sigma.
  • Augment information delivery efforts by implementing AI for analytical needs.
  • Continue to manage and enhance current reporting initiatives.
  • Keep the leadership appraised of project status and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Implement effective Dev Ops and Data Ops practices.
  • Keep track of the technology advancements and continue to identify improvement opportunities and implement them as necessary.
  • This is a hybrid role where there is an expectation for you to be hands on as well.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing, building, and supporting reporting initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience with end-to-end development a must have.
  • 5+ years of experience with programming languages – SQL, Sigma, Tableau.
  • Experience with Retail Operational KPIs & Reporting Strategy a huge plus.
  • Experience with Snowflake & Sigma platform a must have.
  • Experience with Salesforce Tech Stack (SFCC, SFSC, SFMC) a nice to have.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or similar field
  • Sigma/snowflake certifications a plus

Estimated Base Salary: $120,000-$135,000

Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
