We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Senior Business Analyst to join the Casualty Risk Consulting team within the Knowledge Services function at MMC. This position is based in Mumbai and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite at the office.
The Casualty Risk Consulting team works collaboratively with clients, program managers, and carriers/TPAs to proactively identify opportunities for achieving optimal claims outcomes. We deliver comprehensive, integrated consulting services focused on driving cost savings through effective claim closure strategies. Utilizing proprietary technology and data, we equip organizations with tailored claims strategies to reduce claims exposure and enhance the efficiency of their risk transfer costs.
We will count on you to:
Take full ownership of gathering, standardizing, and transforming claims data to create insightful dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
Collaborate directly with clients, program managers, and TPAs to understand insurance programs and dashboard requirements, present solutions, and ensure accurate, timely delivery.
Serve as the liaison between clients and stakeholders by collecting data and project requirements, coordinating project activities, and delivering actionable insights through Power BI and Excel.
Lead a team supporting dashboard development, manage project communications, and foster strong stakeholder relationships to achieve impactful consulting results.
Drive process efficiencies through automation by identifying automation opportunities and designing/implementing automated solutions.
Work on practice development initiatives to expand team capabilities, enhance service offerings, and strengthen the overall consulting practice.
Contribute to the creation of new value propositions and support go-to-market strategies to drive business growth and client engagement.
Mentor and coach junior team members to build their skills, ensure quality delivery, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing regular project updates, proposing enhancements, and integrating feedback to enhance business delivery and capabilities.
Oversee project workflows by allocating tasks efficiently, monitoring progress, and ensuring milestones are met on schedule; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting deliverables, develop dashboards, and generate meaningful KPIs.
Manage all activities to keep workflows aligned with target completion dates.
What you need to have:
7+ years of professional experience in business analysis, data analysis, or insurance analytics with strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX and report/dashboard development and maintenance.
Candidates with Insurance domain across diverse types of claims, claims lifecycle and claim data will be preferred.
Graduate or Masters or Business Administration or any equivalent education program.
Proficient in advanced Excel, Power BI, Power Query, VBA and basic Python with experience in data transformation, modelling and visualization.
Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder and project management experience, working with cross-functional teams will be an advantage.
Ability to interact virtually with business stakeholders from junior through senior levels.
