ING Australia’s Integrative Risk Management team is looking to hire a Manager, Credit Risk Modelling to be based in our Sydney office.
This is a high-impact role within our modelling centre of excellence, where you will develop, enhance and monitor business critical credit risk models across ING Australia’s retail and wholesale portfolios. You will work across a broad range of model types including regulatory capital, provisioning and credit decisioning models, and partner closely with senior stakeholders locally and globally to ensure our models remain robust, fit for purpose and aligned to regulatory and internal standards.
We’re looking for a data-driven modeler with a strong quantitative capability, deep expertise in credit risk modelling, sound knowledge of prudential standards, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
One of the most appealing aspects of this role is the breadth of exposure. You will have the opportunity to shape your own development path and build deep expertise across capital, provisioning and broader credit risk modelling initiatives. You will also gain exposure to both APRA and European prudential requirements in this role. Our flat organisation structure provides exposure to senior stakeholders, governance forums and executive committees.
It is truly a brilliant place to develop your technical modelling skills as well as your business soft skills / stakeholder skills which are critical to your career.
