Raytheon is seeking a Manager, Contracts to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit. This role will support one of the program areas within the space portfolio and other exciting new business pursuits within the product line.
This role will be an integral part of the business teams, supporting strategic solutions, and providing dynamic recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution issues. The candidate should be an effective communicator, highly motivated, and well-organized who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

What You Will Do
Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts
Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual / program risks
Perform as key contributor during the pre-proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and start up phases of programs
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA)
Work closely within cross-functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate Terms and Conditions and pricing proposals
Negotiate contracts
Support program management and execution reviews
Work independently in a fast-paced / multitask environment
Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
5 years experience specifically with contracts and/or subcontracts
Experience with US Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and / or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Contract types
Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust
Professional, effective written, and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; be adaptable to a variety of business situations
Experience working in an exciting environment and ability to multi-task across multiple programs and demonstrated record of responsiveness with excellent time management and organization skills

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
