Collins Aerospace Interiors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional leadership abilities, including strong communication skills, a results-oriented mindset, a customer-focused approach, and a collaborative, team-player attitude.

In addition to outstanding leadership qualities, the ideal candidate will possess advanced contracting expertise. This includes proficiency in redlining, drafting, summarizing contract terms, negotiating, letter writing, and managing both commercial and military contracts. This role provides a unique opportunity to apply your expertise while supporting the success of our innovative Interiors business.

The position combines technical contracting skills, customer relationship management, and strategic collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This position supports a global customer base and requires regular interaction with U.S. customers in the CST and EST time zones.

What You Will Do:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including equipment sales contracts and amendments to existing contracts for both commercial and government customers as well as aftermarket service and repair agreements for government customers

  • Prepare contractual documents and correspondence, including proposal letters, contract amendments, claims, and assertions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations

  • Support and manage licenses and rights for the use of Collins Aerospace intellectual property, including ensuring compliance with government data rights and marking requirements where applicable

  • Offer guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior and executive leadership, on contractual risk, government compliance considerations, and negotiation strategies

  • Review proposals and bid packages for compliance with FAR Part 15 requirements, pricing provisions, and other customer terms

  • Identify and resolve contract-related issues with both internal and external customers, including government representatives, primes, and subcontractors

  • Collaborate closely with other Collins Aerospace contract managers to ensure consistency in practices, compliance, and knowledge sharing across business units

  • Lead coordination with customer program teams on contract interpretations, proposal development, and negotiation strategies

  • Maintain awareness of changes in government contracting regulations and policies, and communicate impacts to the business

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

  • Contracts Experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Aerospace Industry experience

  • Strong communication skills

  • FAR 15 and FAR 12 experience

  • Commercial Item Determination Experience

  • MBA, or business degree

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
