Northrop Grumman Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division is seeking a Contracts Manager 3 in Roy, UT supporting the Sentinel Business Unit. Sentinel is in the development stage of modernizing the ground-based leg of the strategic nuclear triad, which is the bedrock of U.S. national security. This position will report to the Restructure Contracts Director and is on-site position at the Roy, UT location. This position requires a Contracts leader who can excel at the following:
Shape contracting approaches and influence growth strategy.
Lead the proposal, negotiation, review, and management of a wide range of complex contracts and agreements, including government and commercial.
Provide strategic contracting guidance that balances compliance with speed, agility, and competitive positioning.
Make informed decisions in a timely manner, offer guidance, and work cooperatively with a multitude of organizations.
Continue to grow a high performing and motivated team.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience to include: in-depth understanding of Government acquisition policies, regulations and proposal compliance requirements or a Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant professional experience to include: in-depth understanding of Government acquisition policies, regulations and proposal compliance requirements.
Senior level knowledge in understanding and interpreting the FAR/DFARs and other U.S. Federal Government contract regulations.
Experience in preparing and presenting briefings to senior level internal and external customers.
Superior ability to apply functional experience and strategy to create effective contractual solutions.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman Contracts processes and procedures.
Extensive negotiation experience, to include incentive fee arrangements.
Active DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.

Primary Level Salary Range: $137,800.00 - $206,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
