The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking an experienced Manager Computer Systems Analysis 1 to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Linthicum, Maryland campus - this is not a remote work opportunity.
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Lead and mentor Classified Solutions staff of systems administrators, desktop technicians, and network engineers performing direct administration of Information Systems and associated classified networks.
Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.
Keep multi‑user classified servers and networks running reliably (to include installing, patching, upgrading, monitoring, and configuration).
Recommend and implement system enhancements, to include automation, that will improve the performance of the system including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
Lead the creation and upkeep of standard operating procedures and configuration guides.
Align support activities with business goals, managing performance metrics and adapting resources as needs change.
Produce clear written reports and deliver verbal briefings for all internal stakeholders and external partners, keeping everyone informed of status, risks, and outcomes.
Interact, meet, discuss, and troubleshoot issues with vendors; evaluate vendor products, services, and suggestions.
Analyze and make recommendations to internal or external customer requirements and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.
Support customer programs and perform functional management duties based on business needs and performance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience, or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
Applicants must have an active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years, or must be enrolled in the DoD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP), to be considered; the required security clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) before a start date can be established; the required SAP clearance must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
Experience with Windows domains, including but not limited to Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions.
U.S. Government 8140 IAM Level I certification or equivalent (ex: Security+ CE) or greater.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or similar STEM related discipline, to include 3 years of direct experience with IT infrastructure.
Previous experience leading a team of 5-12 employees.
Proven leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with VMware, vCenter, vSphere, and ESXi.
Experience with storage solutions (ex: NETAPP).
Current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
Proven interaction within a distributed team environment.
Strong background in software troubleshooting and experience with the process of Software Review Boards, Agile, or equivalent.
Demonstrated strong team building/collaboration skills.
Understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, and/or CentOS.
Prior experience in information systems management.
Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Demonstrated ability to build diverse/inclusive teams with engaged team members.
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills.
Time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize across concurrent program and functional responsibilities.

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,500.00 - $173,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
