In this position, you’ll work closely with senior leadership to shape and execute the vision for our operational sector. You’ll be at the center of innovation, helping us evolve practices, empower teams, and deliver exceptional value to our members and clients. More specifically, you will be required to:
Partner with senior leadership to organize work and plan operational and specialized activities.
Develop, implement, and monitor an action plan for your team aligned with strategic priorities and integrated across the organization.
Lead change management initiatives and foster a culture that attracts and retains top talent, builds skills, and champions diversity and engagement.
Define and deliver service offerings for your team, ensuring projects meet business objectives and drive member and client satisfaction.
Manage team and individual performance to achieve results.
Continuously improve processes under your responsibility.
Promote the cooperative values of the Desjardins Movement.
Represent the organization and stay ahead of industry trends.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of ten years of relevant experience including four years of management experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Experience managing a team of underwriters and/or in commercial insurance and/or property and casualty insurance
