Clinical Pharmacy Manager–Liver Transplantation

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team who provides comprehensive care at one of the premier transplant programs in the country, known for top-tier outcomes and excellent patient care.
As the Liver Transplant Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you'll work closely with the other Clinical and Operational Managers and other pharmacists to implement quality patient care services. You'll provide collaborative pharmaceutical care to patients while working in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager provides direct patient care and conducts teaching and research activities to promote optimal, cost-effective patient care.
Maintains a liaison relationship with the solid organ transplantation services covered through participation in patient care rounds and involvement in joint projects. This includes but is not limited to:
Develops, implements, manages and reports results pertinent to continuous quality improvement and expense reduction programs related to the patients serviced. Examples of such efforts should be:
The Clinical Pharmacy Manager acts as secretary or member of multidisciplinary committee(s) of medical staff, charged by the Formulary and Therapeutics Committee or other Medical Board Subcommittee, which oversees, develops, implements and manages policies for the care delivered to the patients serviced.
Provides training and educational programs for PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents in addition to undergraduate pharmacy students, and other health care providers.
Performs research in areas of interest, especially those which parallel departmental goals and objectives, and submits manuscripts for publication and/or presentation at local, state and/or national meetings.
Other duties as outlined by the Pharmacy Site Director, including departmental clinical-on-call.

Salary Range:
