Site Operations Department
The Site Operations Department is responsible for the overall health of all mechanical and electrical systems, building maintenance, and performance of all data modules in our data centers. The team is staffed 24 x 7 onsite with Critical Facilities Engineers (CFEs) working on shift and reporting to a Chief Engineer. This team is the face of Vantage to our customers and the guarantee of business continuity and excellence of Operations of our campus as well as the performance of our customer installations. Using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and track maintenance activities, the Site Operations Department is responsible for all preventative and corrective maintenance. Position Overview
The Site Manager, Site Operations owns the overall operations for one, of our data center campuses and will directly manage a team of CFEs.
The Site Manager will report to the President Site Operations EMEA and interface with, Reliability Engineering, Design Engineering & Construction, Heath & Safety, Security and other resources to manage the overall campus.
The Campus Manager will manage and oversee the workflow/work order management, training plans, event management, customer communications, hiring and performance management of the CFT team.
Our CFTs are respected, well-trained, customer-focused and some of the best facilities engineers you will find in the industry. This position will leverage your extensive experience to help guide the team in some of the more challenging aspects of maintenance in areas such as: critical MOP development, testing plans, sparing approaches, capital planning, end-of-life replacement and expansion of existing facilities while eliminating risk to our customers and their businesses.
This position is leadership-focused, paired with the classical Chief Engineer activity.

Essential Job Functions & Duties
o Manage the site team to ensure a high-level customer experience and the excellence of operations
o Daily management and administration of the engineering & operations functions at the facility with the objectives of safely and effectively operating machinery and building systems
o Ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained for data centers and technical infrastructure for your assigned facility
o Manage contracted service work at the facility, including understanding and developing the scope of service, bidding, awarding and administering assigned contracts
o Direct and maintain the site-specific preventive maintenance and work order program
o Encourage and foster a team-oriented environment through positive feedback
o Hold employees accountable on preventive/corrective maintenance of facilities equipment
o Ensure adequate training of all facility engineers and other personnel on electrical/mechanical equipment, system maintenance, repairs and operation. Train CFEs, as appropriate, in new processes and procedures.
o Ensure customers are satisfied and any issues with their services are resolved quickly and efficiently
o Must understand the engineering and operational aspects of the building systems and recognize system performance deficiencies immediately and respond to operational and emergency situations
o Is the author of After Action Reports (AAR) and or Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
o Be responsible for the implementation and application of Vantage policies on site relating to safety, security, quality, and information systems
o Contribute to the documentation of crisis management of the site and application of its process
o Work in collaboration with Vantage Operations at country level on all aspects of maintenance activities of the technical installations
o Demonstrate and implement best practices for a smooth customer project implementation, with the aim of completing the project in accordance with
the contract, at the agreed price and delivering all other contractual obligations fully
o Produce a variety of reliable reports, data and metrics, including time recording in line with Company and Country requirements
o Be responsible for all documentation related to the operational activities of the site
Job Requirements
o Bachelor degree in an Electrical or Mechanical or Technical background or equivalent experience required
o Profound expertise in maintaining mission critical infrastructure; a know-how holder for the overall site infrastructure, electrical and mechanical, required
o 3+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision, strongly preferred
o 2+ years of direct managerial experience and interpersonal skills, strongly preferred
o Experience and knowledge of physical security in a critical environment, preferred
o Good communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with vendors and other service providers
o Polish and English language required
o Proven track record of managing through periods of significant people, process and technology change.
o Good planning and organisation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines
o Work effectively in collaboration cross-functionally to achieve shared goals and deliver business objectives
o A ‘get the things done’ attitude
o Travel is expected to be less than 5%, occasionally for training purposes
