Lead compliance. Shape culture. Influence an entire transport network.
In a highly regulated and operationally critical industry, this is not a compliance role that sits on the sidelines it’s one that drives real impact.
We’re seeking a Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end compliance framework under HVNL and lead the evolution of safety, governance, and assurance across a complex transport and supply chain environment.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic, high-influence role where you’ll partner with senior leadership, shape systems, and embed a culture of accountability across the business.
Why this role stands out
True ownership of CoR across a multi-faceted transport operation
Strategic influence at leadership level not just policy, but real decision-making impact
Complex, high-value environment where your expertise directly affects safety, risk, and performance
Opportunity to build, refine, and elevate compliance systems aligned to NHVAS and ISO standards
A role for someone who wants to lead, not maintain
What you’ll be responsible for
Leading HVNL and CoR compliance across operations and the broader supply chain
Designing and embedding governance frameworks, policies, and best practice systems
Acting as the key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders
Driving NHVAS accreditation and integrated ISO-aligned management systems
Leading investigations, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives
Building capability and embedding a proactive compliance and safety culture
What we’re looking for
This role suits a true subject matter expert who understands the nuance and accountability that comes with CoR.
You’ll bring:
Deep, working knowledge of HVNL and Chain of Responsibility obligations
Strong experience in transport, logistics, or heavy vehicle compliance environments
A track record in audit, assurance, and regulatory frameworks
The ability to influence, challenge, and partner with operational leaders
A proactive mindset — someone who sees risk before it becomes an issue
Experience with NHVAS and ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001) will be highly regarded.
The impact you’ll have
You won’t just ensure compliance —you’ll shape how it’s understood, applied, and lived across the organisation. From frontline operations to executive decision-making, your work will directly influence:
Safety outcomes
Operational performance
Regulatory standing
Organisational culture
