Manager - Card & Treasury Management Sales

As the Manager – Card & Treasury Management Sales, you will be responsible for managing the Treasury and Card Sales Officers in the Small-Medium Business segment of UMB.  

 

How you’ll spend your time:  

  • You will develop, implement and execute market-based sales strategies. 
  • You will actively work with markets and lines of business leadership to ensure joint strategies are linked/aligned. 
  • You will represent and build treasury management brand internally and externally. 
  • You will champion client needs and product innovations. 
  • You will lead deal team(s) to solve complex client needs and issues. 
  • You will lead team to achieve market/team/individual metrics, customer retention goals and new sales production targets. 
  • You will develop performance plans/goals for the sales team. 
  • You will coach and hold team accountable to performance plans. 
  • You will manage and report sales pipeline to management. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

We’re excited to talk to you if: 

  • You posses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
  • You have 8+ years’ of Treasury Management sales experience.  
  • You have 2+ years team lead or sales management experience. 
  • You demonstrate quality management & coaching skills (hiring, development, motivational, interpersonal). 
  • You demonstrate sales management ability by achieving team sales & scorecard goals and the development of the sales team. 
  • You demonstrate ability to grow revenue through new business development, networking in the community, & development of the sales team. 
  • You demonstrate advanced knowledge in Treasury Products & Services. 
  • You demonstrate advanced verbal & written communication skills. 
  • You demonstrate quality organizational skills. 
  • You demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). 

 

Bonus points if: 

  • You hold a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Management (CCM) certification. 
  • You have working knowledge of Web-based Treasury applications, Pep+, and mainframe. 
  • You have ability to influence and develop a strong strategic sales plan, communicate and provide leadership and execution of the stated plan.

 

Compensation Range:

$99,750.00 - $214,370.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
